PDL-summer enrichment mini courses: These are free for member schools. The PDL will offer three courses (1) Summer in Yellowstone, (2) Horse Warriors, and (3) The British Took Philadelphia. Each of these units will have 10 lessons or activities. Each incorporates basic academic skill areas. gaming, and fun quizzes. Students can participate in these courses at school or home. All that is needed is access to a PC. Schools must have a coordinating teacher assigned.

Summer in Yellowstone deals with wild life and ecology. Horse Warriors covers aspects of the Great Plains Indians and their rich culture, and The British Took Philadelphia discusses events and impact on people when the British occupied Philadelphia during the revolutionary war. Learning materials, including content and digital images, are provided online to coordinating teachers.
