Who We Are

The Partners in Distance Learning is a non-profit organization committed to maximizing school investment in distance learning technologies. We were founded in 1994 as an effect of rural superintendents to ensure the advantages of new communication technologies would not bypass the needs and interests of low-wealth schools. We particularly are involved with videoconferencing, online learning, and information Web-based protocols. We emphasize resource sharing (not marketing) among network members.

Each year we publish a list of services and benefits we are able to provide to our members. We believe that few associations can approach the range and diversity of programs possible through our association at a similar cost. Our services, which do change, are listed on our “home” page
